sewing on sunday: quilting

Saturday, October 23, 2010

I had a big weekend as far as my quilting projects go.  Major progress!  A lot of stitches had to be ripped out too though.  I'm sticking to sending my projects out to be quilted from now on.  At least I tried!

In honor of my progress (which I will update you on soon) I thought we were due for a quilt inspiration post!  Although I'll warn you these aren't all quilts - but they are all from fabric scraps (which I now have a lot of).  These are all courtesy Moda Bakeshop.

1. I love this lollipop quilt, although I think it is more appropriate to call it a tree quilt!

2. What a great idea for a growth chart! This would be perfect with scraps from a quilt that you make for your child's room!

3. This number playmat is pretty clever too!

4. I love the angle of the scraps on this shower curtain.  Somehow it makes it look more modern and less country.

5. This skirt is precious!  I kind of want a grownup size one!
