Logan - 28 Months

Loganator,

How are you growing so fast?  You amaze me every day with these crazy 6-8 word sentences that are said so perfectly.  Sometimes I think I'm talking to a 6 year old!  The teachers at school are always amazed at the things that come out of your mouth.  Daddy and I are giggling all the time around you!  Sometimes you talk and talk until you are out of breath.  And other times you blurt out the most random hilarious sentence we've ever heard.

Big excitement this month when Grandma and Grandpa came to visit!!  You had SO much fun with them.  I really wish we could live closer to family for you.  Correction, I wish they lived closer. :)  When we went to the airport to pick them up, you were very excited.  You pointed to the airport and said, "That's auntie and uncle's house!"  Apparently you think they live at the airport because we dropped them off there.

You were quite the charmer with Grandma, but then again that's no surprise.  We didn't do too much since Grandpa wasn't feeling well.  Lots of Starbucks trips, a trip to the zoo (sans camera battery!), and some park time.  You had fun playing with the shovel and pail ("it's not a bucket, Mommy!") that Grandma and Grandpa got you.

You've been doing a lot better with potty training this month and a lot better with sleeping and school dropoffs.  We still need to work on getting to bed at night AND sleeping a little later.  But it's always so much fun to see you with a big smile in the mornings.  When you don't have that paci in your mouth - that's another thing we need to work on!

Mommy got a new job (yay!) which means no more work trips away from you.  It's so hard to be away from you, so I'm thankful that I won't have to do that anymore!

You are still big into puzzles, Toy Story and Thomas.  You are starting to play on your own a little bit more, which is fun to watch.  You make the trains or dinosaurs talk to each other.  It seems you are always talking!  You also absolutely love music and sing along to lots of songs.  You are constantly asking me "What's this song called, Mommy?" and when I don't know the answer you tell me anyway.  It's like you are quizzing me!

You've become even more of a climber the last few weeks, which is challenging for us but fun for you!  And for some reason you've discovered your middle finger and use it for things like playing on Daddy's iPhone.  It's difficult not to laugh when you do it!

We have the best time together, buddy.  You make us so proud!  You are such a smart little guy and have the best personality.  We are so lucky to have you!  We love you lots and are excited to see what the next month will bring.

Love you more than there are stars in the sky, buddy!
